Free Yourself Through Forgiveness
Nature allows me to step outside of my mind and into my heart, where I find the wisdom to forgive others and myself.
I love nature, I truly do! I get to see and hear so many beautiful things on my daily hikes. The birds singing, the breeze whispering through the trees, the sun lighting the way, bunny rabbits hopping along, creatures of all kinds scurrying past me—well, I could go on forever.
One of my favorite books is Animal Speak, The Spiritual & Magical Powers of Creatures Great & Small, written by Ted Andrews. This book has been on my bookshelf for fourteen years now and I still enjoy learning the messages from my fellow friends in nature.
Nature is beautiful in every season, whether it’s spring, summer, fall or winter, there’s always a certain beauty. Nature, like painting, brings my soul peace. It’s where I get to reflect on my day and meditate.
Being outside on Mother Earth and taking your shoes off is a wonderful way to ground yourself along with recharging your body battery with positive energy. Another great book that shifted my awareness is Earthing: The Most Important Health Discovery Ever!
What brings your soul peace? Please tell me, I’d love to hear about it. Do you have a favorite season? What is it and why is it your favorite season.
Who are you going to forgive today?
“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”

Message from the Soul Wisdom Oracle Card
When you engage in the act of forgiving, you keep your sympathetic heart pure. This is one of the greatest gifts of spiritual life. We have all been wronged and we have all caused suffering to others. The unconscious wrongs you have committed and the displeasing things that have happened to you are not as important as who you become as a result of these experiences.
God forgives you constantly for your misguided thoughts and actions. You, being a child of God, are empowered to forgive in the same way. This is your spiritual responsibility while here on earth. If you feel you are unable to embrace this responsibility, know that you are only hurting yourself and blocking the natural current of love from flowing into your life. You will see that forgiveness is beneficial for you; it is the way to release the pain of the past. You will no longer carry the negative energy of past transgressions. Now is the time to cleanse your heart, release any pain and replace it with love. You will smile as divine gifts of peace pour into your experience.
Forgiveness is an act of the heart—a movement to let go of the pain, resentment or outrage you have carried as a burden. It is necessary to remove any negative emotions from your heart and mind, as this allows you to be released from the sorrows of the past. No one deliberately means to do harm to another. It just appears as such because the soul is deluded by the ego mind, born from ignorance. In this delusional state, one is acting out of fear rather than love-operating from the head rather than the heart. When you know yourself as a spiritual being, you are inwardly undisturbed no matter what happens in your life or what anyone has done to you.
Forgive yourself for any pain you have caused another. Know that your actions have also caused you to suffer. Realize that you did the best you knew how at that given moment. Do not allow the memory of those mistakes to poison the rest of your life. Learn from the past and change yourself for the better so that you can handle situations differently next time. Because of the law of karma, the universe is graciously allowing you more opportunities to learn and make things right.

INTROSPECTION
Am I holding onto anyone that I feel has caused me to suffer?
Have I forgiven myself for any suffering I may have caused another?
How would I feel different if I completely forgave everyone whom I believe has harmed me?
How would I feel different if I completely forgave and loved myself?
AFFIRMATION
I now forgive everyone and myself. I am free!
