About

Well, here we are on a grand adventure!

Hi, I’m Sundara Fawn, a fellow traveler on the spiritual journey. I’m the creator of Reawakening the Soul, a revolutionary transformational program that blends a mixture of psychology, metaphysics, and the philosophy of yogic science for soul awakening.

I’m an identical twin who arrived after my sister. My mother had no idea she was having twins, and I was the surprise of her life as she exclaimed: “where did you come from?!” My mother repeatedly shared this story, and the repetition of this phrase became instilled in my psyche.

Another factor that significantly ignited my curiosity was that due to being a twin, people were always staring at us. My mind’s interpretation was “There must be something wrong with me….who am I?”

As a result of my upbringing, I began a vision quest to seek the answers to three internal burning questions: • Where did I come from? • Who am I? • What is the purpose of life?

Being raised in a Catholic family, I was never able to digest their beliefs, as they couldn’t provide me with answers to my questions. Instead of conforming, I chose to speak directly to God, demanding to know Him with the fervor of my heart’s devotion. My prayers were answered, and my guides arrived.

As a baby boomer, I was conditioned to be a secretary because jobs were available for women in this field. Right out of high school, I entered the corporate field as an executive secretary only to experience suffering from depression, insomnia, and a feeling of emptiness. After seven years of enduring this pain, I decided to follow my dreams as an artist and enrolled in college.

While in school, I became intrigued and studied Joseph Campbell. Absorbing his concepts of “The Hero’s Journey” and “Follow Your Bliss.” It confirmed my decision to follow a career path that would bring joy and bliss. I then started studying the ancient wisdom teaching of the Upanishads, where they speak about bliss being found in the soul.

Since childhood, being absorbed in art offered me a journey into another dimension. It was the doorway to the divine, where I felt contentment, tranquility, and joy. Through the guidance of my guru, Paramahansa Yogananda, and practicing scientific yoga techniques, everything I love is woven through my creative expression. The artistic creation of Reawakening the Soul evolved out of my own personal hero’s journey quest, where I left the known world and traveled into the realm of the unknown.

Abraham Maslow states that creating and engaging in creative activity is one of the primary ways we have in moving towards self-actualization. It’s also one of the more common places where peak experiences occur. For some of us, the need for creative fulfillment may supersede even the most basic needs. Self-actualization is marked by the disappearance of our usual sense of self. Creativity offers us an opportunity to experience our true sense of self. When we’re completely immersed in the moment, we enter into a higher dimension of consciousness.

We are all heroes on a journey, endowed with a creative genius seed planted within our souls. However, life as we’ve known it might have to die so that some new powerful way of life can be born. And for many travelers, fear stops them from reaching their highest spiritual potential and genius qualities.

New doors are awaiting your arrival. The big question, as Joseph Campbell puts it, is “whether you are going to be able to say a hearty yes to your adventure.”

I say yes, how about you?

My message to you—

Water your soul seed with love, truth, and wisdom.

Never stop seeking the truth of your existence as an immortal soul sparked by the Spirit of Cosmic Consciousness.

Do what you love, and love what you do, for your earthly incarnation is short.

Love God with all your heart, mind, and soul.

Develop a loving relationship with God, and know that God has become you.

Show the world what God’s creative expression can do through you.

The delusion of separation causes the root of all suffering. Explore and experience yourself as Spirit.
